activities
At Outdoor School the days are full with science explorations and other campy activities! Here is a glimpse at what some of the activities at Camp Tamarack could be! Some the terms that we use to organize our days:
FIELD STUDY
Studying science in a hands on approach that encourages exploration and investigation. We offer three field studies for each group with focuses in: Exploration 101, Decomposition, Fire Study or Water Study!
RECREATION
Every student will have the opportunity to participate in three recreations which include: canoeing, arts & crafts, and a combination of archery and court sports- including everyone's favorite, gaga ball!
CABIN TIME
Students are arranged into cabins by their teachers and get to spend some down time with their cabin coming up with skits for campfire and hanging out!
ARCHERYEach student will get the chance to participate in archery during their recreation time. | INDOOR CAMPFIREStudents will get the chance to be in a skit as well as join in on lots of fun songs! A great place to gather when the weather is too chilly to be outside in the evenings! | FLAGLINEEach morning and evening we use this time to quietly reflect on the day. |
